Role Description

As a Social Media Creative Intern at Provoke, you join our media team and think social first. You understand how TikTok, Instagram, Reels and Shorts really work, you can shoot good content on your phone, edit fast, and have a feel for hooks, storytelling and what actually grabs attention online. During shoots, events and other moments, you quickly spot where the good social content is.

You'll work across Provoke's own media projects as well as Armin Shah's media projects — the talk show formats Convo Talkshow and Kick 't met (Ziggo) — turning what happens on and around them into social content that performs. You think along on formats, spot trends, keep our socials active, and make sure strong content goes out consistently.

Practical Details

• Duration: 5 to 6 months

• Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week

• Location: Our studio and office near Amsterdam Sloterdijk

What You'll Do

• Shoot social-first content on your phone during shoots, events and everyday moments

• Edit fast and clean in CapCut, Premiere or similar

• Develop hooks, storytelling angles and formats that grab attention

• Spot where the good social content is in the moment and capture it

• Create social content around Provoke's media projects and Armin Shah's formats such as Convo Talkshow and Kick 't met (Ziggo)

• Think along on content ideas and social formats for Provoke's channels

• Keep our socials active and make sure strong content goes out consistently

• Research trends, creators and platform developments to inspire new content

• Understand what works differently across TikTok, Instagram, Reels and Shorts

• Maintain a strong library of visual, cultural and social references

Who Are You?

• You think social first and genuinely understand TikTok, Instagram, Reels and Shorts

• You can shoot good content on your phone and edit it fast

• You have a feel for hooks, storytelling and what grabs attention online

• You quickly spot where the good social content is during shoots and events

• CapCut, Premiere, TikTok and Instagram feel familiar to you

• You're into sport, culture and digital content, not as a buzzword but as something you actively follow and participate in

• You're organised, proactive and take ownership of your work

• You naturally spot trends and opportunities before they're obvious

• You communicate clearly and confidently in English (Dutch is a plus, not required)

• Your own accounts, own content and previous social projects are a big plus

What We Offer

• An internship fee of €500 per month based on a 40-hour work week

• A 1,000m² creative studio and workspace in Amsterdam
