Product (Tech) Owner
Role Description
As Product Owner at Provoke, you are responsible for leading the development of all internal technologies we build, from early concept and UX design to prototyping, testing, and implementation. You own the full product process, ensuring that the tools we create are not only functional but also intuitive, scalable, and aligned with how end users think, work, and interact.
You turn ideas into working products. This involves designing intelligent user experiences, developing logical product structures, creating and refining prototypes, and collaborating closely with developers to bring them to life. You speak the language of both design and development, challenging assumptions, identifying technical possibilities and limitations, and providing feedback that improves execution at every step.
Your work lays the foundation for how we operate, create, and grow as an organization. Whether streamlining internal workflows, enabling new types of collaboration, or shaping tools that drive our future capabilities, you make sure the technology we build is purposeful, usable, and built to last.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Tech Product Leadership
Build and lead the development of a scalable ecosystem of insight technologies — from internal platforms to client-facing tools.
Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of systems that translate intelligence into usable strategy, creative tooling, and audience understanding.
Align platform features with business, creative, and research priorities — ensuring long-term value and product-market fit.

Intelligence Infrastructure & Knowledge Architecture
Design systems that structure and activate insight across workflows, connecting qualitative and quantitative inputs into usable knowledge.
Develop scalable frameworks for knowledge mapping, modular taxonomy, and insight reusability across categories, cultures, and teams.
Ensure platforms are future-proof, user-friendly, and aligned with real research behaviors and creative processes. from interviews, field notes, reports, and trend scans.
Develop structured tagging systems, modular taxonomies, and metadata protocols that allow users to quickly search, filter, and reuse relevant insights across disciplines and markets.
Ensure that these systems align with how research is actually conducted, accounting for different types of input (qualitative, observational, expert-based), and are built to scale across diverse cultural and thematic contexts.
AI & Smart Tooling
Integrate AI agents and models for clustering, synthesis, validation, and language processing.
Collaborate with developers and research leads to integrate machine-assisted processes into insight workflows, without compromising nuance, humanity, or editorial control.
Champion ethical, explainable, and creative uses of AI within research infrastructure.
Cross-Functional Enablement
Collaborate with research, strategy, tech, and operations teams to ensure adoption and usability of tools across Provoke.
Lead onboarding, documentation, and platform education so teams and clients feel confident using (and contributing to) the systems that we build.
Facilitate feedback loops that allow tools to continuously improve based on real user experience.
Strategic Enablement & Product Evolution
Translate platform usage and feedback into feature iterations and long-term product vision.
Evolve tools continuously by identifying future-facing use cases, integrating new technologies, and aligning with Provoke’s broader vision and priorities. Monitor platform usage, performance, and business impact to ensure tools remain relevant, effective, and strategically valuable.
Stay on top of the latest developments in knowledge management, cultural research, and AI-enhanced insight workflows.
